Responsibilities

• Work very closely with “C-Level” level, other heads of departments, and stakeholders to achieve the goals/roadmap of the company
• Be the central point of contact between the business and technical team to clearly define the scope, impact analysis, and limitation of product and technical
• Plan and maintain the cost structure of infrastructure and employees' salaries within the department
• Make a report with an explanation describing the case
• Focusing on the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and coding to testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Accelerate software delivery and improve quality by fostering collaboration and automation between development and operations teams
• Evaluate the team performance and define the improvement plan for each employee responsible
• Make decisions in unclear impact analysis of requirements that make changes to existing products or create new software products
• Lead infrastructure and architecture design to follow business strategies and review the designs to ensure the performance, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and ensure that solutions follow best practices
• Ongoing to create a plan for technical improvements to our platform and service to increase efficiency and reduce latency
• Ongoing to create a plan for making products/services to gain uptime closer to 99.99
• Research new and emerging technologies, lead technology evaluations, and provide technical advice to management

Qualifications

• Understanding, modeling, and representing the organization's business requirements in a human-consumable manner as it relates to strategy
• Management and leadership skill
• Able to make modeling and graphical representations and abstractions
• Graduated or experienced in faculty/area of technology/network/software development.
• Experience in at least one of the following languages/ technology  
• JavaScript/ TypeScript 
• Golang
• Python
• Experience in various of following infrastructures or related technologies at a deep level
• Cloud technology (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Digital Ocean, etc.)
• Container engine (Docker, Podman, etc.)
• Database technology (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Search engine and analytic technology (Elasticsearch)
• Monitoring/Metric-based technology (Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana, etc.)
• Mesh/Tracing technology (Linkerd, Istio, Kuma, Jaeger, Zipkin)
• CI/CD (GitlabCI, Jenkins, Codeship, etc.)
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, AWS Cloudformation, etc.)
• Self-motivated and have the willingness to learn new technologists at all levels
• Understand the networking between services and various protocols in each layer
• Understand the service deployment pipeline or CI/CD
• Understand kanban or scrum methodology
• Understand the details of OSI 7-layer model
• Have communication skills and are able to explain technical detail to people
• Ability to hand on experience to other employees
• Experience in leading overall infrastructure for a complex organization and network, including multicounty setup, VLAN setup for regulatory requirements, managing data protection, etc.
• Strong in using virtual machine and linux commands
