Assistant Project Manager

While achieving “on time, on budget” is still crucial for every project, the PM of today’s digital era also needs the adaptability of short-cycle, iterative discovery and delivery methodologies focusing on Minimum Viable Product. Furthermore, our PM must be comfortable with data-driven risk management and decision making. Finally, the nature of our business means that, you will likely be working with multiple agile teams and data scientists.  Responsibilities

• Assist Product Manager to define the scope of the project from day 1.
• Estimate, manage and negotiate resources, budget, and timeline for the project.
• Develop detailed project plan and identifying critical paths.
• Identify and manage project risks in relation to both delivery and business performance.
• Work closely with Product Owner in agile teams to track progress throughout project’s lifecycle.
• Prepare status report and escalate to management and executives.
• Check and ensure the project meets stakeholders’ expectation.
• Manage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders.
• Play active role in all agile activities such as planning, refinement, product review and retrospective in order to improve productivity of the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or any related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT or digital initiatives project management.
• Knowledge of agile or project management methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, PMBOK.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Good Analytical skills to assess and evaluate projects.
• Ability to lead a team and work with cross-functional team.
• Good time management and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, proactive and thirst for learning.
