We are building-up our core-banking technology team, adopting the latest tech, modern tools and new ways of working to implement Avaloq core banking projects.
You will work with Avaloq Script Language, a proprietary programming language used by Avaloq. The language is based on PL/SQL (same syntax), and has been enhanced by Avaloq to model business objects using object-oriented programming concepts. In addition, you will work with PL/SQL scripts and SQL queries to access tables use function packages on the database directly. So, you will need to be familiar with database concepts, and object-oriented languages.
You will be collaborating in a diverse and inclusive team with an entrepreneurial mindset and working with the Avaloq Banking Suite. On missions, you will be part of a squad and pair with your peers to create transformative outcomes - from inception to reality.

The Role
- Work as part of the regional APAC core banking team.
- Work on client projects both in Thailand, and around the APAC region.
- Software development, analysis, solution design, and testing.
- Implementation of new, and maintenance of existing functionality.
- Development based on guidelines and standards.
- Close collaboration with the team to ensure fit-for-purpose end-to-end functionality.
- Ensure that deliverables are within the work effort estimate, cost and with quality.
What We Look For
- Want to transform what banking means.
- Are a Software Engineer with basic experience in Java, Spring Boot and/or Python.
- Excellent technical skills in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL.
- Excellent skills with SQL (advance queries, tuning).
- Are excited about Cloud-native technologies and software engineering.
- Have basic knowledge of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery.
- Have developed user friendly frontends using NodeJS, Angular, or Flutter.
- Have been exposed to Agile Software Development practices.
- Experience working on Linux based infrastructure.
- Love to work in a team.
- Can fluently speak and write in Thai (mandatory).
- Able to speak and write in English (prefer).
