Software QA Engineer (Metthier Co., Ltd.)

As a Software QA Engineer at Metthier Co., Ltd., you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our Smart Facility Management software solutions. Working closely with our software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, automate testing processes, and identify and document any bugs or defects. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with product managers, software developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements, features, and acceptance criteria specific to Metthier’s solutions.
• Develop and Execute Test Plans: Design and execute test cases, scripts, and automation processes to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability across various modules in smart facility management.
• Manual and Automated Testing: Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, ensuring thorough coverage of all product features.
• Bug Identification and Documentation: Identify, isolate, and document bugs or defects, collaborating closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Monitor and Analyze Testing Results: Track test results and analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent product quality.
• Participate in Agile Processes: Engage in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, providing insights on testing progress and challenges.
• Enhance and Maintain Automated Test Suites: Use test automation frameworks and tools to create and improve automated test suites that support our continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document test cases, results, and testing procedures, ensuring repeatability and traceability in testing processes.
• Stay Current on Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in software testing to continually improve our QA processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Test Automation Tools: Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Solid understanding of software testing best practices, techniques, and standards.
