DATA X is a new venture of the Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) holdings, a leading financial services, and digital services holdings in Thailand and ASEAN.

As part of the transformation of SCB into a group of product and technology companies, under the SCBx brand, DATA X is the technology company to centralize data and provide AI and data science services and products to the group. We are currently operating within the bank with the plan to spin-off in early 2022.

Your Responsibilities

• Accountable for the overall project or multiple workstreams including project plan, objectives, scope, budget, work schedule, design & build, and contractual deliverables, and that it meets with the business requirements
• Collaborate with other development teams, works with the Solution Architect and Data Engineers to create the project plan which defines the work schedule and resource allocation
• Coordinate and facilitate with related parties to support teams to design, develop, test, and maintain on cloud platforms and ensure the project implementation timeline meets with the business needs
• Defines the project resources, their roles, and responsibilities. Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Documents the deliverables and manages the project costs
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor & track the progress of the responsible projects
• Ensures the delivery per the project timeline, and commitment to the project; be responsible for managing the changes to align with the project schedule
• Establishes and manages effective communications and relationships with the Project Sponsor(s) and all related stakeholders
• Ensures appropriate standards and quality are maintained
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Manages transition to support organization/operations
• Communicate upward and outward verbally and in writing
• Partner with various stakeholder teams across business units to develop positive relationships at all levels

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science experience, Information Systems or related fields
• 3+ years of project management in a competitive service industry preferably in banking, or financial services
• Prior experience with data related projects or having experience in a data-driven environment and collaboration projects with IT
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and experience working with technical management teams
• Ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer focus and ability to handle difficult stakeholders as well as interact with multiple levels of the organization and functional disciplines
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai
