Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) @Sellsuki

Responsibilities

• Work very closely with “C-Level” level, other head of departments and stakeholders to achieve goals/roadmap of company
• Be central point of contact between business and technical team to clearly define scope, impact analysis and limitation of product and technical
• Plan and maintain cost structure of infrastructure and department employees salary
• Make report with explanation describing the case 
• Evaluate the team performance and define the improvement plan for each employee in responsible
• Make decision in unclear impact analysis of requirements that make changes to existing products or create new software products
• Lead infrastructure and architecture design to follow business strategies and review the designs to ensure the performance, scalability, maintainability, appropriate re-usability and ensure that solutions follow best practices
• Ongoing to create plan for technical improvements to our platform and service to increase efficiency and reduce latency
• Ongoing to create plan for making product/services to gain uptime more close to 99.99
• Research new and emerging technologies, lead technology evaluations and provide technical advice to management

Qualifications

• Native Thai speaking.
• Understanding, modeling, and representing the organizations business requirements in a human consumable manner, as it relates to strategy
• Have experience in management level at least for 5 years
• Management and leadership skill
• Able to make modeling and graphical representations and abstractions
• Graduated or experienced in faculty/area of technology/network/software development.
• Experience in at least one of the following languages/ technology  
• JavaScript/ TypeScript 
• Golang
• Python
• Experience in various of following infrastructure or related technologies in deep level
• Cloud technology (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Digital Ocean, etc.)
• Container engine (Docker, Podman, etc.)
• Database technology (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Search engine and analytic technology (Elasticsearch)
• Monitoring/Metric base technology (Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana, etc.)
• Mesh/Tracing technology (Linkerd, Istio, Kuma, Jaeger, Zipkin)
• CI/CD (GitlabCI, Jenkins, Codeship, etc.)
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, AWS Cloudformation, etc.)
• Self motivated and have willingness to learn new technologists at all levels
• Understand the networking between services and various protocol in each layer
• Understand service deployment pipeline or CI/CD
• Understand kanban or scrum methodology
• Understand the detail of OSI 7 layer model
• Have communication skills and able to explain the technical detail to people
• Ability to hand on experience to other employees
• Experience of leading overall infrastructure for a complex organization and network, including multicounty setup, VLAN setup for regulatory requirement, managing data protection, etc.
• Strong in using virtual machine and linux commands
