Senior Backend Engineer(.NET/C#)

The strength of our engineering team is core to building products for our startups. 

We are looking for a hands-on senior engineer (for our Engineering hub in Bangkok) with proven technical expertise, leadership experience and excellent communication skills. 

You will be responsible for supporting and guiding engineers, as well as implementing the overall technical strategy of projects. You'll produce scalable software solutions, as part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Backend Engineer, you should be comfortable with .NET backend frameworks, and using third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities 

• Work with development teams and product owners to ideate software solutions in an agile environment
• Participate in the decision-making process to design server-side architecture
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs and technical documentation
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Understand the implications of security and data protection
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, including code and architecture reviews
• Follow and assist in the development of MOHARA’s development best practices
• Create security and data protection settings
• Great attention to detail, organizational skills and analytical mind

Qualifications 

• Bachelor or Master's degree in a computer science field 
• 5 years experience as a backend software developer
• 3 years of experience in .NET/C#
• Knowledge in Entity Framework Core
• Knowledge in one SQL Database (e.g. MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge in API design with GraphQL and REST API
• Experience with one Unit Test Framework (e.g. NUnit/ XUnit)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CI/CD in the AWS ecosystem
• Knowledge of Docker and Linux servers
• Knowledge in Design Pattern
