Head of IT (Retail Business)

Job purposes:

The Head of IT (Retail Business) will work closely as a partnership with Retail Business Unit for the purpose to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support enhanced technology with E2E solutions to their business target. The candidate will oversee the applications development and support team for company’s retail business operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business and their technical team to plan for and execute enabling technology solutions for PTG’s Retail business
• Oversees Project and resource management, ensuring that development project plans are executed within cost and time constraints to meet requirements. Ensures that subordinate functions receive efficient and effective support and provide an effective array of solutions
• Informs and advises team of policies and procedures, projects and major activities in other groups as appropriate to ensure team is apprised of activities that affect its work processes, timelines and planning
• Implementing IT strategies that deliver their Initiative projects on time and on Quality
• Assist in business conceptualization and rationalization (feasibility, cost/benefit,fit/gap analysis)
• Understand, analyze, prioritize and confirm end-to-end business requirements andprocesses
• Provide options and recommend end-to-end business solution or workaround

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or any related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as Project Manager, Business Analyst 
• Background in Retail, Wholesale Business, Food & Beverage Business or Omnichannel
• Strong analytical and proven ability to quickly understand complex business andsystems and provide appropriate solution
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to effectively collaboratewith diverse people such as business unit, developers and vendor
• Driver, committed, result-oriented and service mind
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Good communication skills in English and Thai
