Business Analyst (Hybrid Working)

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team at EDDI, a subsidiary of Oventure and a leading EdTech company revolutionizing education through innovative technology.

In this role, you will leverage your Web Application Development expertise to align business needs with cutting-edge technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI, Product Owners, Web Development, and AI teams to translate business objectives into actionable technical requirements and drive impactful solutions in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate brings energy, fresh perspectives, and a proactive approach to challenging existing processes—always exploring new and innovative solutions. Proficiency in Python, Next.js, Nest.js, JavaScript, and JIRA is essential, and experience in e-commerce, streaming platforms, or learning management systems is highly desirable. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis 

• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand and document business goals.
• Translate business objectives into technical specifications and user stories. 
• Conduct feasibility studies and gap analyses, balancing business needs with technical constraints. 

2. Technical Collaboration 

• Leverage your background in software development or technical analysis to communicate effectively with development teams. 
• Partner with the Web-Development and AI teams to drive technical solutions that align with organizational goals. 
• Review and provide feedback on technical designs, ensuring they match business requirements. 

3. Agile Methodology & JIRA Management 

• Participate in all Agile ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives). 
• Create, prioritize, and manage user stories and tasks in JIRA to track project progress. 
• Maintain sprint backlogs, ensuring visibility and alignment across the team. 

4. Solution Design & Documentation 

• Prepare detailed business requirement documents, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure user-centric solutions that align with design principles.
• Continuously update system and project documentation to reflect changes and enhancements. 

5. Testing & Validation 

• Coordinate with QA teams to define test strategies, review test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. 
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), capturing feedback and facilitating necessary iterations.
• Verify that delivered solutions meet both business and technical requirements. 

6. Continuous Improvement 

• Actively seek and propose new methods, tools, and frameworks to enhance business processes and technical solutions. 
• Encourage knowledge sharing and open discussions across UX/UI, Web-Development, and AI teams.
• Monitor industry trends, exploring new technologies and best practices to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.

Required Qualifications & Skills: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 
• Technical / Development Experience: 
• Proven background in software development or technical analysis. 
• Familiarity with web technologies. 
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, or cloud environments is a plus. 
• Business Analysis Skills: Experience gathering and documenting requirements, designing solutions, and translating business needs into technical deliverables. 
• Project Management Tools: Hands-on knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency with project tracking tools (JIRA or similar). 
• Industry Advantage: E-commerce, Video Streaming, or Learning Management System (LMS) background is a plus.
