Data Scientist

The Opportunity: 

As a semi-full-stack Data Scientist, you will get to work hands-on on data project which get implemented and come to life. Since Robinhood super-app is still in the growing phase, you will get to be in the fast-growing business and have opportunity to work on challenges to expand on new territory of business via utilizing wide ranges of data (food delivery transaction, hotel booking, rider, app browsing, mobile attribution data, to name a few) to deliver data project such as dynamic pricing, customer taxonomy classification, etc. An impressive support from teams, which are Data Engineer, DevOps, and Cloud solution architect will be along with you to succeed. 

In this role, you’ll get to 

• Work with data squad serving (Machine Learning Engineer, Platform Engineer, Machine Learning Operation, DevOps Engineer, etc.) and a variety of business owners to create, deploy, and monitor data project with the best quality. 
• Design, code, experiment and implement models and algorithms to maximize customer experience, business outcomes, and infrastructure readiness. 
• Perform full-stack data scientist function by able to form business question, pull and manipulate data on variety of form, deliver the study or model, communicate the result as well as monitor the model after deployment along with data squad serving. 
• Research, discover and harness new ideas that can make a difference 

What you’ll need 

• 3+ years hands-on data science experience.  
• Excellent understanding of AI/ML/DL and Statistics, as well as coding proficiency using related open-source libraries and frameworks. 
• Satisfactory proficiency in SQL and languages like Python, PySpark and/or Scala. 
• Knowledge in machine learning, optimization and statistical methods in financial services, logistics, digital marketing, or customer relationship management. 
• Hands on experience in coding and applying machine learning, optimization and statistical methods to large datasets or managing machine learning project is preferred 
• Can lead, work independently as well as play a key role in a team.  
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate complex ideas in simple terms 
• MSc in Computer Science / Operations Research / Statistics or other quantitative fields 
• Experience in big data framework like Spark 
• Experience in cloud provider like AWS, Azure, GCP 
• Experience in one or more specialized machine learning areas, e.g., recommendation systems, computer vision, segmentation classification, and reinforcement learning 
• Experience with Deep Learning frameworks like Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch or others 
• Experience in working with Databricks
