System Analyst (Java + Design System)

Job Description:

• Provide consultancy to Relationship Manager (RM) for specifying the high level impact for each system
• Support RM to estimate IT cost and man-power and Business Analyst (BA) to seek appropriate solution that ables to support for each business requirement in gap analysis activity and provide optional solution in case of system could not support business requirement (technical gap)
• Prepare the Individual Solution Design document and also design IT system to align business requirement
• Analysis technical performance, security concerns and evaluate non-functional requirement before architectural review meeting
• Present specific solution design in architectural review meeting
• Support IT Project Manager (ITPM) to prepare technical contents in Request for Proposal (RFP) and to define the SOW (Statement of Work) for hiring vendors / outsourcing and also provide information to IT team for software/vendor selection process and to estimate and provide cost related to application and IT system
• Lead in solution design walkthrough with vendor
• Support Business Analyst (BA) to clarify the solution design and provide technical consultancy
• Prepare the Technical Specification document and design system interface and detailed solutions for developers as well as vendors to code program
• Manage developers and vendors to code program as per the Technical Specification
• Verify the quality of software development by unit testing
• Be a first contact point to coordinate with vendors to follow up the issue log
• Transfer knowledge related to technical part to Application Owner, Production Support and Helpdesk team especially list of Q&A before deployment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Management Information System, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or related fields
• At least 7 years of working experiences in System Analyst and/or Developer role
• Technical skills – Java framework, API, jasper, software architecture, eclipse, WebSphere, oracle, SoupUI, JBOSS
• Strong knowledge in software development, design pattern, framework, application security
• Strong knowledge in communication networks and connectivity, database and database management systems (DBMS), operating systems and utilities and integrated development environments (IDEs) for programming languages
• Strong knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology
• Good knowledge in configuration management
• Good knowledge in financial services industry is preferable
• Good command of English (Reading and Writing)
