Lead Software Engineer (Backend)

Purpose of the position:

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and build our platforms. This position will be responsible for designing, building, improving, maintaining our applications, evaluate user needs, third-party integration, backend systems, working with monitoring tools and infrastructure, and provide technical and team leadership through coaching and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs.
• Transform software designs and specifications into functional applications in the appropriate language.
• Develop and deploy applications.
• Providing technical support to teams within the organisation, and to external clients when required.
• Manage team resources and tasks assignment.

Qualifications;

• 6 years + experience in software development.
• Knowledge programming languages in C#, Go, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Knowledge with relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies.
• Knowledge in System Architecture Design.
• Experience in project management or team management is a plus.
