Data Engineer

We are a tech company building an Advanced Data Platform for FinTech and Startups around the world. We need your help to get all kinds of data into the platform nice and clean to extract valuable insights for our customers.

Location: Remote / Rachathewi (office optional)

Employment Type: Part-time, Project-based

Responsibility

• Build and (Unit)test real-time and batch Data processing pipeline using Python
• Automate data collection from API, HTML (Scraping), DB, etc.
• Perform Data cleaning, Extract Metrics as a part of pipeline
• Create proper monitoring and alerting
• Be on-call and responsible for functioning of your data pipeline

Technical Qualification

• Extensive Experienced with Data Processing and Algorithms
• Fluent knowledge of Python, Pandas, Numpy, and mainstream data processing library
• Good knowledge of REST API, HTML Scraping
• Expert-level knowledge of Data Modeling, Schema Design
• Advanced knowledge of Elasticsearch, DocumentDB, SQL DB and their query language
• Overall great intuition on how to manage data pipeline
• Proficient in Linux, Shell Script, Docker, Kubernetes, Git
• Nice to have: AWS, GCP user-level knowledge

Personal Skills

• Passion for data and insights
• Great respect for committed deadline (It’s important in financial industry)
• Can speak either Thai / English
