DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at Data Wow, you will work closely with software developers to automate software deployment. You will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing continuous integration pipelines. Additionally, you will be working with Data Scientists to deploy various machine learning models to production. 

Responsibilities

• Designing and strategizing various ways to deploy code to production in different environments
• Develop scripts to automate various development operations
• Configure and optimize software deployment pipelines
• Deploy machine learning models
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Manage logging and metrics collection tools
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions 

Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise in Docker
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of AWS Cloud
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with Python
• Proficient with git
• Love designing fault-tolerant architectures
• Experience working with various databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools is a plus (Graylog, ELK, Prometheus, New Relic)
• Problem-solving attitude
• Understanding of best practices regarding networking and security
• Collaborative team spirit
• Good command of English
