Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at Data Wow, you will work closely with Data Scientists and DataAnalysts to create data pipelines. You will get to work with data warehouse technologies as wellas data ingestion tools. You will also get to work with Data Scientists to create proof of conceptproducts for clients. You will be part of a team that delivers exciting data-oriented products.

Responsibilities

• Designing, creating, maintaining, optimizing various data pipelines
• Work with data ingestion tools
• Work with various data warehouse technologies
• Optimize data warehouse utilization
• Researching new ways to improve existing architecture

Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise in Python ; experience with web frameworks is a plus (Flask, Django, FastAPI)
• Working knowledge of data warehousing technologies
• Working knowledge of ETL technologies
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Google Cloud Service and AWS
• Working knowledge of Docker
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Problem-solving attitude
• Understanding of best practices regarding security
• Collaborative team spirit
• Good command of English
