Senior Java Developer

Job description:

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the Bluestone PIM team in Bangkok. You will join one of our development teams and work closely with colleagues in Europe. You will take part in the development of the Product Information Management (PIM) solution and e-commerce software, including technical investigations, prototyping, development, and deployment for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Researching and investigating new technologies to implement in the Bluestone PIM customer projects, internal modules, providing relevant ideas and suggestions to Team Leader, Project Manager, and Project Architect
• Developing 24/7 services in Java to deploy on our microservice-based Cloud Ecosystem
• Developing serverless services in Python/Java to deploy on our own Cloud Ecosystem
• Designing and developing internal libraries to support our services
• Researching and implementing POC projects and finding the best solution and tools for implementation
• Developing REST APIs used both by our own user interface and for integrations with customers’ internal and external systems, such as ERP and e-commerce
• Collaborating with Team Leader, team members, and other colleagues to solve the team's needs
• Preparing technical documentation for end users, internal and partner developers

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent of work experience
• Professional experience in Java development (3+ years)
• Good understanding of the entire technical stack of a web application
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Working knowledge of some of the following technologies:

- Java

- Dropwizard/Spring Boot

- MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis

- AWS services

- Jenkins

- Microservice-based development

- Docker

• Team spirit and strong communication skills
• Experience working in Agile work environments
• Proficiency in English
• Experience in e-commerce web application development would be a plus
• DevOps and the development of SaaS solutions experience would be a big plus
