Job description:

We are looking for a Java Developer to join the Bluestone PIM team in Bangkok. You will join one of our development teams and work closely with colleagues in Europe. You will take part in the development of the Product Information Management (PIM) solution and e-commerce software, including technical investigations, prototyping, development and deployment for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Developing services in Java/Python to deploy on our microservice-based system.
• Developing REST APIs used both by our own user interface and for integrations with customers’ internal and external systems, such as ERP and e-commerce.
• Designing and developing internal libraries to support our services.
• Researching and investigating technologies to implement in the Bluestone PIM customer projects, and internal modules, providing relevant ideas and suggestions.
• Collaborating with other colleagues to solve the team's needs.
• Preparing technical documentation for end users, and internal and partner developers.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent of work experience
• Professional experience in Java development (1+ years)
• Good understanding of web application technologies and development
• Working knowledge of some of the following technologies:

         - Java 11 or newer versions

         - Dropwizard/Spring Boot framework

         - REST API development

         - Microservice-based development

• Team spirit and strong communication skills
• Experience working in Agile work environments
• Proficiency in English
• Experience in the database management systems (RDBMS or NoSQL) would be a plus
• Experience in cloud computing services or work with cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud would be a big plus
