Cloud Architect

The Cloud Architect will provide overall direction, guidance and definition of cloud service architecture based on customer needs, service roadmaps, and functional roadmaps. In addition, the Cloud Architect will be responsible for developing cloud architectural standards and ensure common architecture decisions are implemented consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design, develop and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions and assets
• Work closely with DevOps teams to build, deploy and/or migrate applications to the cloud
• Ensure the proper application architecture guidelines are established and maintained for build and deployment
• Scrutinize current environments and recommend solution to enable a fully cloud-based architecture
• Manage and maintain hardware and application infrastructure for environments on a day-to-day basis

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Experience in architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.) on cloud
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• GCP Cloud Architect certifications (Associate/Professional levels) are preferred, or other cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
• Good knowledge of networking, storage, database, compute, and application services
