Senior Database Administrator

We are looking for a passionate Senior Database Administrator who will join our team at Information Technologies Directorate.

Responsibilities

• Conducting setup and administration of existing and new Database Systems
• Initiating appropriate Database Systems by taking advantage of the technological developments towards the needs and particular standards within the framework of Arçelik-Hitachi Information Technology
• Supporting and managing the formation of new systems and policies for Business-Continuity of Database Systems and Data Security (Backup, Disaster Recovery, etc.)
• Following up and reporting Database Systems and making necessary improvements and investment plans based on these Reports
• Following up technology developments, to carry out R&D activities and to inform people about these developments

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in MS SQL Server and Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
• Experience in SQL language / Database design
• Experience in SAP Basis and S/4HANA
• Experience in query and performance optimization on enterprise system
• Sounds knowledge about database solutions in Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms
• Fluent and highly proficient English communicator (reading, writing, speaking, presenting)
• Practical knowledge of project management
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
