AWS Cloud Engineer – Network & Security

As a AWS Cloud Engineer – Network and Security, you will be responsible for:

• Design and deploy highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions on the AWS platform.
• Design, configure, deploy, and support BI Applications like Tableau in an enterprise environment with multiple accounts. 
• Develop and implement secure networking architectures to ensure data transmitted across networks' confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Architect, configure and manage virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, and security groups to ensure a secure and isolated network environment.
• Implement and manage network connectivity, including VPNs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway, to establish secure and efficient communication between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Configure and maintain AWS security services to enforce best security practices.
• Work in a DevOps mode to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management using infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
• Update and follow industry trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.

Profile Requirements

For this position of AWS Cloud Engineer – Network and Security, we are looking for someone with:

• (Required) Good English communication and soft skills.
• (Required) At least 3 years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer focusing on infrastructure, networking, and security.
• (Required) Solid technical skills and knowledge of AWS core services, including EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, IAM, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• (Required) Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, including but not limited to version control, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD (e.g., Git, Terraform/CloudFormation, Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins/GitHub Actions.).
• (Required) Good understanding of network protocols (e.g. OSI, IP address, routing, and subnetting) and networking services (e.g. proxy, reverse proxy).
• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
